Janet Granger over on her blog shared pictures of her “Shlama Bag.” It’s absolutely gorgeous, and spelled properly to boot (quite the rarity nowadays). 🙂

Thank you for your comments about the bag that I embroidered. I reckon it must have taken me about 80 to 100 hours to stitch it, so if I’d have got the spelling wrong, after all that work, I’d have been more than a little bit annoyed, so I was careful to check it first! I took the spelling from the book ‘Classical Aramaic book one’ by Errico and Bazzi.
