Some quick updates on the DARIUS Project:
1) It will be iPhone and iPad compatible. ๐
2) The matching module will support multiple scripts per unit (for example, learn Classical Syriac in Estrangela without vowels, or Madnhaya or Serto with their appropriate vowel systems).
3) There will be games, both single player and multi-player (but more on that when there’s a demo to play with). ๐
Peace,
-Steve
Looks cool. Is there a connection between this and your A.D. class? (sorry if I missed the answer elsewhere)
I wanted to make a formal announcement about this soon, but I might as well mention it here, first. ๐
Once DARIUS goes “live” as it were, I will be officially depreciating the Aramaic Designs / RogueLeaf Learning Aramaic classes, and all students who were enrolled will receive a complementary 6 months access to the full system. ๐
Peace,
-Steve
Ahh, thanks. That explains some things. Well, then, by all means please keep us updated. =D
I had been growing uneasy about the length of time since the last update to SYR101 & could not seem to get an e-mail response. To know you have been active on the course material (albeit in a different format) is quite relieving.
Hey – wait – does this mean I’ll lose my quiz records? That perfect score on my first time through the Consonants quiz is nice to look at. ;]
