As I’ve realized that there is no longer a good primer to the Herodian forms for letters up either here or on the old DARIUS website, I think it is time to put something new together. With the beginning of the school year, I’ve begun formal Galilean classes with my kids from the get-go so that our youngest can catch up, so I figure that I should probably mirror what’s going on there here.

We are currently going over the letter Alef and have adopted old Palestinian vowel pointing (an early Medieval system) for the sake of instruction. I’ll begin posting those lessons in the Conversational Galilean class.
