This Saturday (May 24): Expanded Talk on the Lord’s Prayer

Lecture Advert

A reminder that my expanded talk is coming up this Saturday on my reconstruction of the Lord’s Prayer, prefaced with a bit of history about the Galilean dialect. This is the second time I’ve done something in this format, so I’m going to try and add in a number of things I was forced to leave out the first time around. 🙂

The Galilean Aramaic Lord’s Prayer @ Christ Church

Lecture Advert

Dates & Times:

Sunday May 4th at 9:15 am, and Saturday May 24 at 11 am at Christ Church New Brunswick.

Galilean Aramaic, the language of Christ, is an obscure dialect that has nearly been lost to time and some well-intentioned negligence. In this lecture, Steve Caruso discusses the history of the tongue, a careful reconstruction of the Lord’s Prayer that gives insight into wordplay lost through translation, and what the next steps towards preserving the language for future generations are.

$5 suggested donation to Christ Church New Brunswick, but no one will be turned away.
