For as little as what amounts to a cup of coffee a month, you can help Steve publish more content, and simply say “Thanks!” for all the work he’s put into it. In return, he’ll say “Thanks!” by giving you access to a bunch of marvelous materials:

  1. Full Access to The Aramaic Words translation. Even the unfinished bits. It’s an unusual translation of the Four Gospels where whenever someone speaks, their words are shown reconstructed their original language.
  2. Classes and resources about Galilean Aramaic, taught conversationally. In truth, the only way to keep a language alive is by speaking it with other people.

No crazy sales pitches. No ridiculous claims. Just sharing some fun stuff about the language of Christ over a cup of coffee.

  1. Hello Steve –
What a wonderful site and mission. I am interested in becoming a supporter. Can you tell me how the monthly money is handled ? Do you use PayPal or some other site that handles automatic renewal? I would like to begin on 1May , as my check comes in on the first.
    Thank you

    1. Very good question. 🙂

The current system is via PayPal and you can handle automated renewals right from your PayPal account. If you have any difficulties with it, we can also set up things manually though another payment method of your choice. 🙂

        1. Duane,

Good to see you. 🙂 Aye email is the best for questions. This weekend there are a lot of crazy things happening with my family (a wedding and weekend stuff) but I will do my best to take the time to give a proper and thorough reply as soon as I can.

          1. Ok ill send you later. I have 2 questions grammatically in aramaic. By the way, how can i view the videos or aramaic alphabet?

          2. Duane,

I just came across your email so I’ll be replying there.

The videos that are completed are up on YouTube and the alphabet and other things should become accessible once your membership kicks in.

          3. (the alphabet and other things should become accessible once your membership kicks in. ) I chose this in the meantime (Amount: $5.25). Is that valid so that i can view and learn everything steve?

          4. Dear Steve,

I have a follow up question regarding the fake manuscript, you answered me great. I ASKED last one question because there are something in your email that i want to be clear. Can you reply to my one last question?

  2. Steve,

I really think you have done an outstanding job with this course.
Do the old courses have an audio program attached, so that we can hear how the words are pronounced?

    1. Thanks. 🙂

Most of them should have some audio, but I think I might have changed audio plugins recently so some of them might be broken. I’ll see about going over them all and restoring the audio where I can.

  3. I just viewed my first lesson and I must let you know that this is a well-designed program! You have done an outstanding job with this! I just have one question, even though I am a basic (free) subscriber, the system will not allow me to download the second worksheet of the alphabet for some reason. It says that I should be able to access this. Can you please help me with this? Thank you!

      1. Thank you! It works perfect now! I love this website! Thank you so much for creating this opportunity for people like me to learn this beautiful language!

  4. Steve, you have done a most excellent job creating and maintaining this site. This is exactly the kind of site I’ve been looking for on Jesus’ original tongue. I believe that understanding the words in the context of their time will help break down walls and arguments.

  5. Hi,

    I cannot open/run the
Syriac Keyboard for Mac OS X
    by stevecaruso
I just downloaded to my MacBook Pro /IOS X Yosemite

Any suggestions as to the installation of the keyboard?

    Yours, Michael

  6. Yours is a work long past due. I know somewhat of the history of Brother Jerome’s actions but you might want to comment on the processes involved in the adoption of and the usages of syriac western rather than what seems reasonable, usage of syriac eastern. The talmuds are very different. Good work so far and massive work ahead. Keep it up.

    Could we try again?

    Thank you!

  8. What a wonderful thing you are doing! I wish you the very best, and hope to obtain a copy of The Lord’s Prayer for our church.
Blessings, gratitude and peace be upon you,

  9. Steve –

As perhaps you also know one can find idomatic support for your post regarding the Pope and the Lord’s Prayer/Our Father from the following.

Lamsa, George M. Gospel Light: A revised Annotated Edition. Kearney, NE: Morris
Publishing, 1999, for the Aramaic Bible Society, Inc., Covington, GA. Pp 82-83.

  10. I have been wanting a wooden version of the Lords Prayer bracelet ever since the original pewter version was advertised via Aramaic Designs, so the recent news that an olive wood bracelet might be in the offing is a true blessing. Absolutely fantastic news.
Would be quite happy with the 6 panel double sided version as with the original, wouldn’t the 12 panel single sided one be either too large a circumference for smaller wrists, or the panels too small to easily read the text ?? might be good to have both options to suit different preferences here, just a thought

  11. Steve:

I believe I inquired of this before. However, to become a monthly subscriber am I correct in saying that you would prefer we handle that through our pay pal accounts?

    Please advise.

Thank you for what you do!

  12. Hi Steve,

Since I’m new to this site, now that I’ve upgraded to student level, how do I access the class room… Also the alphabet and vocalization quizzes were not pulling up for me yesterday when I tried to take them It just kept saying no questions. I know I need more practice with the alphabet but I’m getting the hang of it… How do I check what I’ve learned on them?
