There’s a new Aramaic relic up for sale on eBay: Part of a manuscript from 1388. I thought about bidding on it, but it suddenly went from $80 up to $1,520. A bit high for my meager budget. 🙂
If I have some free time (hehe… IF.. free time is looking bleak) I might post a translation of the pages.

That’s ridiculous! They must have realized that its worth something to someone. Steve, you should reasearch the “price changing” criteria on eBay on this item. It should be universal for all items. There should be some stipulations that the seller overlooked that should bite him in the butt…Chances are if you do your homework or anyone else for that matter, you could get it for the prices listed to start the sale.
